Easiest to Install
Two bubble level-indicators and the spring-loaded leveling foot help verify and achieve proper angle in the vehicle seat. The is also equipped with premium for easy attachment and removal from the lower anchors in the vehicle seat. The one-pull tightener applies force-multiplying technology for a secure fit with a fraction of the effort.
For installation with the vehicle seat belt, clear belt routing and integrated lock-offs make it easy to position, tighten and lock the belt into place.

Usage
The KeyFit® 30 is designed for infants between 4-30 pounds and up to 30 inches tall.
Compatibility

Care and Maintenance

Amazing Car Seat

I am a first time mom and was very worried about purchasing a car seat. I got the travel system and I love everything about it. The car seat has amazing reviews and I feel safe with it. I recommended it to my other friend and she loves it too. I recently took the fabric off to wash it and was very easily able to put it back on. I would buy again for my any future kids.

We got to bring our

We got to bring our little bundle of joy home today in this amazing car seat. This seat is very light weight and easy to manage. I love the straps on this car seat. Fit very perfect, nice and snug around our new baby. The material and color our great for a boy. The base was the easiest base I’ve ever installed in my life. Just popped them out of the base and right into the car. Once you tighten the straps and checked the level gauge I couldn’t get it to budge. Amazing! Car seat snapped in and out very easily. We are so happy we went with this car seat. Thank you Chicco for making us feel safe and secure.

First Time Parents

Car seat shopping can be overwhelming, especially for first time parents. Safety was first and foremost on our list of must haves. Followed by compatibility with a stroller, ease of installation and use, and lastly style. The KeyFit 30 ClearTex checked all of those boxes for us. The leveling and latch system for installation was amazing for first time users! We appreciate Chiccos attention to detail in safety and this product being Greenguard Gold Certified was an added bonus. The fabrics used are not only safe and comfortable but the colors are great.

Safe, Comfortable & Versatile

We are huge fans of this car seat. I don’t think there is easier installation out there. The SuperCinch strap makes sure the base is snug; the leveling foot worked with an easy push; and the leveler bubble let us know right when the base was in perfect position. The seat itself snaps right in and feels super secure, giving us all the confidence in the world when we have to drive our new guy around. We love the compatibility with the strollers; you hear the click, and you know it’s secure. We love that versatility to be able to go from the car to the stroller all while not disrupting our little guy. The materials are so soft so he can sit in there comfortably for long drives. Added bonus is the ClearTex material that is chemical free and GREENGUARD Gold certified which just makes you feel better that he is breathing healthier air. We are overjoyed with this car seat.

First Time Parent

As a first time parent, choosing big items like carseats can be overwhelming. This is a great choice based on top safety ratings, ease of install and overall quality of the product. Install using the leveling and latch system was easy and the seat is snug and secure. I love the Greenguard Gold Certification, which means less chemicals, but the fabric remains plush and fireproof. I would recommend to any parent looking for a great carseat!

Ease of use

This is the best infant car seat. It is easy to install and use. I have bases in a small sedan and large SUV. I have installed via latch and seatbelt. I can easily get a sug fit either way. Adjusting the harness the position, placing baby in the seat, securing the harness, and removing baby are all very easy to manage. The carseat is lightweight, the handle bar and sunshade are also adjustable. I particularly like the ClearTex fabric that is very gental and the infant insert is so plush. It is a great product.

Safe and Easy to Install Infant Car seat

This is an all-around perfect infant carseat. The latch system and spring-loaded leveling systems make it quick and easy to install while still assuring that it is secure and safe. The carrier comes with a removeable head and body support for newborns that is easy to remove as your baby grows. The carrier easily clicks into the base in the vehicle and also quickly clicks into a chicco stroller. This carseat is a greenguard gold certified and has no added chemicals for better, healthier air quality surrounding a new baby. I would highly recommend the KeyFit30 ClearTex Infant Car Seat to any new parent or parent shopping for a new infant seat.

Safe and Reliable

We love this car seat carrier. The carrier itself is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Snaps quickly and easily into the base. Buckling is a breeze. Also, it’s adjustable so we can continue to use it as the baby grows.

A: The newborn body insert on the KeyFit 30 infant car seat must be removed once the child reaches 11lbs. You may continue to use the head insert. The head insert must be fastened one slot above where the shoulder straps go through the back rest. It cannot be fastened in the same slot as the harness straps. Once the harness straps are in the upper most slot you must discontinue using the head insert.

A: The Chicco KeyFit 30 infant car seat and base have a 6 year life span. There is a “do not use after” date on every car seat (on the bottom) and base. Once the car seat and base have expired, please properly dispose of them. If your KeyFit 30 infant car seat was manufactured on Nov. 8, 2018 then the car seat (and base) expired on Nov. 8, 2024
