Safety hazard

I bought this two months ago and thought it was perfect. It is a safety hazard. When opening it to put the infant carrier in you NEED to make sure it is completely locked. It has collapsed twice now with my child infant child in it. Also, the foot lock appears locked and wasn’t, only one side was and it rolled down a hill with my infant in the carrier. I am not happy with this stroller .

Received for my baby shower from my grandparents. It was the stroller I wanted and looked very modern/nice. This is a overpriced peice of plastic trash! Don't waste your money! Mine is so scratched up from opening it and holding my baby. Its a nightmare. I can not even adjust my baby while she is sleeping, just gets stuck or falls back while she is sitting. Such a waste of money makes me sad!

Great features.

I received this as a shower gift. My son is 4 months old now and I’ve loved this whole combo! My son was born 3 weeks early and was 5lbs, the car seat has fit him from the beginning with the newborn insert. The car seat clicks in and out of the base easily in the car. I will say initially I had a hard time getting it out of the stroller until I learned to push it down the pull up when taking it out of the stroller. Now I have no issues. I haven’t switched over to the regular stroller since my son isn’t sitting by himself but it was pretty straight forward and easy to take apart the stroller that I’m sure it’ll be just as easy to put together. I’ve used the stroller on regular concrete, asphalt and gravel and did not have an issue. I will say because this is not an all terrain stroller the gravel was a bit bouncy so we no longer use it on that. I don’t expect it work since there are running strollers with a shock system made for a smoother ride. Overall I’m so happy with the whole system it’s been easy to use and everything is made well.

Worth the price!

We got this from our baby shower and we love it. It is rated high in safety which is a must. Our baby seems very comfortable in his car seat, and having the option to have multiple bases is great. The rubber tires on the stroller make a huge difference compared to the plastic ones. It is so easy to fold and unfold, and the extra shade from the canopy is awesome for a sunny day. This travel system is definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Great car seat, bad stroller

I wouldn’t purchase this travel system again primarily because of the stroller wheels. They are terrible. Right out of the box my husband had to purchase hitch pin clips to secure the wheels. I had a 5 pound baby born in winter so this stroller has not been used excessively. I probably used it 10 times before discarding it and using a 7 year old Graco hand me down from my sister that’s rolled strong through 4 kids already. The Chicco stroller folds fine with one hand but does require 2 hands to unfold. The canopy coverage and cup holders are great, but this is an unreliable, indoor pushing stroller at best. It only glides well on newer concrete or pavement when outside. The car seat is great; my baby dropped to 4lb 12oz when we left the hospital and the car seat has always been secure even when the baby was such a small size. I will continue to use the car seat but the unit as a travel system is worthless with such poor functioning stroller wheels.

Broken stroller and horrible customer service

I received this travel system as a shower gift and it seemed to work fine in the beginning when snapping in the car seat. However, once my daughter was old enough to sit, the stroller would not lock in place in upright position. I contacted Chicco customer service, via phone, and also sent about 10 emails (along with the registery and stroller info multiple times) before Chicco finally sent me a piece to fix the issue. Chicco required that I send them videos and pictures to even get this piece and once the piece was received, the stroller had to be dissembled. Please note I contacted them within a year of the purchase date, which was also months before I had the chance to use it. It was frustrating enough to have a broken stroller, but then for Chicco customer service to require me to jump through so many hoops just to get a new piece was absurd. It’s upsetting to me how poor the customer service was as I would have definitely considered using Chicco for my next car seat, but now I’ll need to consider another brand.

Poor customer service

I bought this for my first grandchild I saved up for months and was so excited when I saw 20% off coupon. Of course money is always tight but you want the best for your children and grandchildren. I ordered it 2 weeks ago and today I get a 25% off coupon in my email. Imagine how upset I was when I contacted Chico and they told me they don't do price adjustments. I told them most customer service based retailers do for at least 30 days. This made me very upset. I will no longer purchase their products. Hopefully this trio will last 2 years and the next set can be a different manufacturer.

Nice to look at but not practical

I bought this stroller for my son, with my daughter I had a Graco and remembered I hated how the wheels would slid because they weren’t rubber. Anyway this stroller I loved the colors and design however the car seat is extremely heavy empty and now carrying my 5 month-17lbs son by myself has taken such a toll on my arms. The stroller itself has a horrible open design. The closing is great can do it one handed. But to open u can’t open it unless u are holding the push bar and the open handle feature or the whole thing topples over it’s honestly a mess trying to open it my stroller is so scratched up already because of how difficult it is. For the price I was really expecting more I wish I would’ve went with a different travel system. The toddler seat on this one is only facing one way which is what I miss because the Graco I was able to face it to myself. Beautiful stroller, horrible design.

Love this stroller system!

My baby is 11 months now, and I have not had any complaints with this entire system. We live on the third floor of an apartment building, and I’m still able to carry my 21 pounds baby up and down the stairs in her car seat. It’s getting heavy of course, but to me the car seat itself is pretty light. The stroller is great as well. I love how easy it is to open and close. I do need two hands to open it, but only one to close which is fine. I have my baby in the car seat when I’m opening it anyway. I often travel alone with my baby so it was very important to me that it was easy to open and close the stroller. I love how the car seat just clicks right into the stroller. At 11 months, my baby can also sit in the stroller without being in the car seat and I love how the back support is adjustable for her to sit up, or lean back. The canopy is nice and large to protect from the sun or if it’s raining. I have a small sedan and the stroller does fit nicely in the trunk. It’s very smooth to push, easy to turn and steer. I feel like my baby is very safe in it! I have a small back seat and I don’t feel like the car seat is too bulky or big.

Great Travel System

Love it! As I was reading the reviews, I’m surprised to see so many poor reviews. We love it! It’s super easy to install and use. I’m a small person and I can place the car seat, with my baby in it, in and out of my 4Runner. The stroller is super convenient and easy to use as well. We have a Nuna and although the Nuna is light weight, our baby prefers and loves the Chicco car seat. It’s much more comfortable. This travel system turned my husband and I into huge Chicco fans!

READ BEFORE PURCHASING - Surprisingly Bad Return Process

My wife and I decided on this travel system initially, but ultimately decided to go with a different one. We attempted to return this unopened travel system to Chicco. The process was clunky, which is not a big deal, but we were forced to pay the return shipping, which was $175. Be 100% sure this is the one you want before buying and if you are not 100% sure then go with a different brand that won't cost you $175 to return an unopened item.

Good, not great.

We bought this travel system and thought we would love it. The car seat though heavy is great. When attached to the stroller however, it gets stuck and will not come out without using excessive force. For a $700 system that should not be an issue.

Great travel system!

We haven’t used it yet however it is very well constructed. The wheels are big and looks like it will handle any terrain. Love the color and style. Has a nice big basket for all your extra items and cup holders will definitely come in handy.

DON’T DO IT! Awful design and doesn’t hold up.

Terrible. Don’t do it. The car seat straps constantly lock up and are difficult to loosen. There is no place to put the buckle to keep the straps from falling behind your baby while putting him in the seat. Taking it all apart to wash is a nightmare. First wash, hook and eyes fell off. The stroller scratches easily from normal use. You cannot unfold one handed or the front face plants to the ground scratching everything. You can fold one handed which is nice but unfolding is super awkward and not worth the benefit of the one hand fold feature. If you want to pay $700 for a travel system that will look ragged after a week of use, this one is perfect. I have four children. This is the worst system I’ve ever had. Better options out there for sure.

Love this system. The stroller is so easy to fold and unfold with one hand, super smooth when w pushing: it literally just glides and doesn’t take a lot of effort. The basket is large enough to hold the diaper bag among other things. The car seat is a bit on the heavy side, but it safe and comfortable for my baby. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Keyfit 35 Infant Carseat contains flame retardant chemicals

The Keyfit 35 Infant carseat that is included with this travel system does not have the Chicco Cleartex fabric. The carseat included with this travel system has fabric that has been treated with flame retardant chemicals. The stroller is functional, but I am very disappointed that the carseat included in this travel set isn't the chemical free Cleartex version.

I have had it 6 months now and I’m not super impressed. The stroller: i bought it for the “shocks” and real tires and really the shocks are nonexistent. It’s soooooo heavy i pulled my back getting it in and out of the car. But my least favorite part is the knobs the car seat clicks into is right at my baby’s head so I can’t prop him up safely, I tried and he did in fact bump his head on them. Car seat: flat out too heavy and bulky and doesn’t fit well in sedans. I do like the built in veil. I wish I would have just gotten the lightest stroller/car seat since the shocks are not really a thing.

Versatile Stroller

We bought this for our first baby, I ended up having complications and was put on restrictions. The stroller was so easy to use even with my physical restrictions. It is high quality along with being lighter than other systems. I was able to take my baby on walks. Once I got better I was able to put the stroller portion in my car by myself with ease. The wheels are heavy duty. The stroller portion folds very easily. Really great!!
