It’s good not great

I like how smooth it feels to wheel around. Only thing I wish was better is the stroller seat. Once my baby out grows the car seat she won’t be able to use the stroller. The measurements are 25 witch is less long then car seat. Don’t know how that’s going to work but will see.

Horrible stroller

I purchased this about 5 months ago but started using it January since that’s when I had my baby. I have always LOVED the Chico car seats would only definitely buy chicco brand car seats!!! As for the stroller it is horrible it’s as bulky as the older ones and it’s much harder to fold and close. I have a city mini stroller that I like that’s so much more convenient than this one. I purchased this thinking it would be like my city mini but no I was wrong. I wish this stroller was built a little bit lighter specially with the one fold. The shade for the stroller seems to slide off easily when putting the stroller in or out of the vehicle and it would of been nice if they installed a peekaboo on the sun shade to easily see the baby. It’s also very loud closing and opening the shade to peek on baby. Overall this item is average regular stroller nothing fancy about it. Wish I tried the stroller out before I purchased it.

Excellent car seat/stroller system!

We’ve really enjoyed the quality and ease of use of this stroller and car seat - we have a 2 3/4 year old and a 5 month old, and it’s great for both of them (just not at the same time!) The 2 year old loves the stroller because of her own cup holder and snack tray. We had another stroller previous to this one that she was constantly itching to get out of, but this one she was perfectly content to ride in for long stretches. The car seat is perfect for our 5 month old, and the system with the base makes it really easy to click him into the car, then pop him out and put him in the stroller without having to take him out of his seat. We also liked the wheels on the stroller, they didn’t seem to get stuck on uneven sidewalks and stuff as much as our 4-wheeled stroller did.
If we had one criticism to give, it would be that there is not a lot of finger room next to the adult cup holder - so if you have drinks in the cup holders and are pushing the stroller, your hands don’t have a lot of room to move around. But more of a minor annoyance, not an actual problem.

Amazing Quality and Weight

I received this two weeks ago and I love it. The seat is light and easy to handle and the stroller is easy to fold and unfold. The stroller fits in my trunk so easily and the quick folding and unfolding is very convenient!. The stroller has so much space and my daughter loves the comfort of the seat itself and the three wheel architecture makes it so much easier to turn and allows a lot of maneuverability. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a car seat that is light and a stroller that is so convenient!

Very user friendly and easy to assemble!

I was so impressed with how fast and easy this system was to assemble! In 5 to 10 minutes max the stroller is ready to use by itself or with the car seat.
Once assembled from the box, using the stoller independently or with the car seat takes a matter of seconds. It has a sleek design with what appears to be durable fabrics. The one-push button and pull strap to fold the stroller in-half can truly be done with one hand and with ease. The wheels roll nicely and the front swivel maneuvers around tight spaces well. When folded up, the stoller is compact and fits into the trunk of a car or back of an SUV. The extra features like 4 cup holders, sun shade, and bottom basket are all very useful for child and parent and the wheel locks are really convenient when child is in the stroller or when folding the stoller up to put away so it won’t roll away on you.
The car seat is so easy to use both with the stoller and as a stand alone. The instructions are clear and the one button push to unlatch from the base or from the stroller is easy to use.
I am super impressed with this travel system and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of this type of combo!

The best travel system I’ve ever had!

This stroller and car seat is amazing! I had a preterm baby and the occupational therapist that did the car seat test for my baby before we left the hospital said that this car seat is by far her favorite for small babies. It is the best safety wise and for good positioning of the baby. Our baby passed her 90 minute car seat test with flying colors.
The ease of use with this seat is amazing also, my fiancé was able to put the base in very quickly and with such ease. Super easy to install.
The stroller is another amazing part! Such a smooth ride for baby and easy to push. And I was able to put the entire system together by myself at 36 weeks pregnant.
I’m a midwife and will recommend this product to all of the first time parents we see with questions regarding car seats! I used to be a fan of the Eddie Baurer travel systems, and purchased them for all 4 of my other children, but this car seat has easily made me change my mind and become a loyal customer to Chicco!

Family on the Go

Our family is consistently on the move. As two business owners we’re always having to pack up and go! First the The KeyFit® 30 Infant Car Seat easy click in system helps us transport our newborn without the stress of strapping a car seat in and out on every trip. We had our base installed in both cars weeks prior to due date and post birth the light weight frame doesn’t put stress on my wife’s body after having a C-section. An added bonus is our son tends to sleep soundly in his seat even after removing it from the car!
The ViaroTM Stroller adds to the convenience. A quick click and we’re off. The maneuverable design and the quick fold for easy load in and out helps us to save time and effort.
The only feedback we might give is combining these two into one convenient apparatus!
Overall, it’s nice to know we have a one stop stroller for the time we need convenience and comfort most for our little man!

Great unless....

So I love the colors, reviews and safety rating of my car seat and stroller combo. Super easy use! Wipes clean easily. Maneuvers great. I really do love how easy it all is.
My only complaint is replacement parts. I recently took a mini vacation with my 5 month old daughter to visit some friends out of state. I did the gate check of the car seat and stroller....which was super easy handling everything by myself. I didn’t realize until 2 days into my trip that the canopy had some how come off the stroller in transit. I filed a lost item report with the airline and nothing came of it. So I get on the internet to try and find a replacement canopy. Chicco does not offer this option. They have wheels and wheel accessories but that’s it. So now I basically have a useless stroller since we live in the sunny, hot south. No canopy on a stroller isn’t a good thing.

Easy to use, but fabric issues.

First I have to say that I love how easy it is to fold and maneuver the stroller. However I have issues with the fabric. After a use in a light sprinkle the stroller was put into my vehicle along with the seat. Upon arriving home the car seat was taken into our home.The next morning I noticed the top canopy of the car seat had mildewed. Upon further inspection the stroller canopy had as well. I am not able to get those spots out. I could see if it were soaked and shut in for days, but this was not the case. I've owned many car seats and strollers and never had this happen before.

great stroller system

I've been using the Viaro system for the past year and few months. Such an easy to use system. I loved the ease of the car seat clicking into the base in the car and transition to the stroller.
After my c-section the stroller wasn't too heavy to lift and store in the trunk. The quick fold is so simple to use. Now that I just use the stroller it moves nicely through stores and sidewalks.
There were never many accidents in the car seat but the times I did take off the cover to wash it I had no issues.
The cup holders can hold sippy cups fine but only plastic water bottles fit not so much my Hydroflask.

We bought a jogging stroller from babytrend and it was huge and heavy so we bought a new chicco viaro stroller and I can simply recommend it to everyone. It's so light and easy to maneuver anywhere. Also other features are very nice and easy to tuck into the back of the car ! Highly recommend !

I was a little disappointed at first with my Chico Viaro Travel system because one of the brackets on the sun canopy snapped off and I wrote a review expressing my disappointment however I was immediately contacted by Chicco and within days I was sent a brand new sunroof canopy without even asking for a new one. I have many Chico products and they’ve always been great and I’ve been very satisfied with all of them and now seeing the customer service of Chico has made me a lifelong Chico customer and I cannot say enough great things about the company as well as their customer service and products. The stroller is very easy to use The car seat snaps in place very easily and was great as she trains is my daughter transitioned into sitting in it without the car seat. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t take up much room in the car trunk and is easy to fold up. Thank you Chicco for making this mom very happy!

Sun protector broke easily

I bought this item to go with my Chicco car seat and was very disappointed when the sun cover snapped off while removing it from my trunk, normally I always had great things to say about Chicco products but after spending over $300 on a stroller that broke within a month I will no longer be purchasing Chicco items

Great travel system for infants!

I bought this system as a first time mom and absolutely love it! I loved the jogger stroller and my daughter is so comfortable in even now without the carseat. So much storage and compartments. As for the carseat.....love it. Even bought a second for grandma's house. Everyone that has helped us with our daughter and has had to use the carseat and base love it. They have all said it's the easiest one they have used before! Looking at the next fit zip now for our daughter!

Easy to use!

When my stroller was delivered my husband was out of down. I was able to put it together and easily figure out how all of the pieces fit together with no trouble. The design is sleek and attractive. I love how lightweight all of the components are! I put the base in both of our cars and found that it was very easy to take in and out of each vehicle. I also really like how the travel system will work for the many stages of our baby's life, from infant to toddler. All in all an excellent stroller! I would definitely recommend this travel system.

Lightweight and easy to close

I got this as a shower gift and started using it about 3 weeks ago. The travel option is wonderful to go from the car to the stroller as well as going for walks. The only thing that I don't like are the size of the cup holders for the parents. They are not big enough for a vitamin water and too big for a regular water bottle. The thing that it fits best is a venti cup from Starbucks. I am still searching for the best water bottle to keep for me when I am in long walks.

First Time Mom!

I am a first time mom and baby is not due for a while so I cannot say much on the function with the baby actually in it. However, I am an avid review reader, picky, and nervous about anything my baby will be in, on, around, etc. The car seat is pretty light, padded, and VERY easy to remove from the base (so easy it took a min. to figure it out). The carseat is a little more difficult to remove from the stroller, but it could just be me.The stroller rides smoothly (tried without baby obviously). Even my husband who is super critical of quality (and put the stroller together) said it was made well. I like that the cup holders come off for cleaning. I was worried about it getting damaged in shipping but it arrived in good shape. I can't wait to take my baby for a stroll in this!

We got this stroller as a gift from Chicco. We are some to be parents. We really appreciate this gift. It was easy to assemble. We had friends look this stroller over and they gave us some feed back. So from veteran parents and also owners of two Chicco strollers. Here you go. They said this stroller has great versatility from walking to running to every day use. They like the center castor wheel design because it makes it stable and easy to maneuver. They did not like where the fold down button was located. It should be up on the hand rail or on a main frame rail. Also the didn't like the reclining strap. A bar would be better.

Easy Drive

I just got this system as a gift. I love the way the stroller maneuvers. Even with the car seat loaded in, I can easily manage the stroller with one hand. I am looking forward to using this stroller when walking our dog. I like the way that you can adjust the stroller seat to recline at any angle. However, I am a little nervous that it does not lock into a position and rather relies on a plastic clamp and heavy strap to hold it in place. I am not sure how it will hold up for a heavier child. I like that the button to fold up the stroller is hidden. It does take some practice to fold up the stroller as smooth as the video shows. I don't think folding up the stroller is a one hand job. You need one hand to pull the button and the other to pull the strap. The keyfit 30 car seat is still one of the best around. I still do not like the design of the cover and find it hard to fit over the back of the car seat when I want the viser up. But the car seat does lock into the stroller so smoothly and comes out without any effort. Overall, I love this new product, especially this color.

A: Once the child outgrows the rear facing infant seat, the next car seat we recommend is a convertible car seat. Convertible car seats, are designed to stay in the car at all times and do not have a removable base. We suggest you view our Nextfit or OneFit convertible car seats.

A: The KeyFit30 car seat is compatible with the KeyFit, KeyFIt30 and KeyFIt35infant car seat base. The KeyFit35 infant car seat is only compatible with the KeyFit35 base.

A: The KeyFit 30 car seat is approved for use in motor vehicles and aircraft. This information is stated on a white sticker on the side of the car seat. Please consult your product manual for installation instructions. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy.

A: The recline clip is located on the back of the Viaro stroller seat. Adjust the Backrest by sliding the Recline Clip up or down into the desired position.
