Usage in Harness Mode
In harness mode, the MyFit® ClearTex® is designed for children who are at least 2 years old, between 25-65 pounds, and up to 54 inches tall.
Usage in Booster Mode
In booster mode, the MyFit® ClearTex® is designed for children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-100 pounds, and between 38-57 inches tall.

Care and Maintenance
Hand wash fabrics using mild soap and water, or machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent; hang to dry. For plastics, sponge clean using warm water and mild soap; towel dry. Do not use bleach on any part of this product. To clean harness, sponge clean using warm water and mild soap; air dry. Do not machine wash harness.

Lovely, STURDY booster. Easy to install. We like it almost as much as the next fit zip. The only reason I took off a star is that the cover zips off in multiple pieces making it a little confusing to take off and on, but it seems to be necessary to get a proper install. Would buy again.

GREAT except booster mode

Love the clean look, the options to recline even cor older kids who are forward facing. Love the padding around chest clips & that i can have a harnessed booster. My 5yr old feels like a big kid in this seat, yet i still get a 5-point :).
ONLY ISSUE when putting this in booster mode. My kids absolutely cannot buckle themselves in with the seatbelt… the seat is so tall that the buckle is hard for them to reach & has created a lot of frustration. My oldesy was excited to no longer need harness but after realizing how difficult it is for him to buckle himself, ive had to put the harness back on. Its impossible for me to reach & buckle him in myself in 3rd row of SUV. I can reach harness though. So thats a little disappointing. Almost feel like i need the next model and i was hoping this would be the only one id need until he didnt need a booster anymore

We love this car seat. The cup holders are easy to remove and wash! The straps are easy to glide when loosening and tightening. I’m very impressed! We’ve had several different car seats. I would buy it again!

I had to transition from infant seat which was chicco bravo, so I was uncertain the comfort level could be matched. Well, it was! My Baby loves the new seat, and fits great as a 13 mo old. Though its designed to grow with children, it also fits great when they are small. The tilt adjustment is perfect; she sits at an angle that is not to straight up, or to tilted back (level 2). Must buy product.

Really nice seat! My 5y10m old daughter has a really tall torso height (outgrew her convertible seat) but isn’t high back booster ready with the seatbelt due to the way she falls asleep, so we purchased this seat. The harness limit is fantastic! We are very happy with the fabric, the features, and overall quality. I just really wish it also converted all the way to a no back booster as well and it would be perfect.

My kiddo is 4 years old and in the 98th percentile for heighth. We also have a sedan, so I was wanting to get a narrow carseat. I love this carseat is very comfortable, easy wash and tighten straps.

Nice seat, could use a couple updates.

Fits great with 3 across in our back seat. Sometimes the tightening strap gets stuck and you really have to pull/maneuver to get it unstuck. The headrest could have more levels to select from, as right now the straps are just at/almost below my daughter's shoulders, or way above. But she's comfortable and especially likes the armrests.

This seat is so easy to install with the latch system and I love that is still gives recline options as well. The 5 point harness is really comfy and the chest padding makes it even comfier.

This seat was bought as a replacement after a wreck, the 1st seat was also this type and we absolutely love it. It is comfortable for our son and he never complains about going places with this seat!

Doesn’t offer repair

Just contacted Chicos to see if they offered repair on my car seat that periodically has the straps twist inside the car seats rendering it useless unless a strong person can pull on it and get it to release. This is something I am unable to do. I was told they offer no repair service and they would send me instructions on how rethread it myself. Needless to say, I am not comfortable rethreading it and am seriously wondering if it is holding my grandson safely. Astonished they don’t offer repair or any concern about rechecking it for safety. Next time I’m looking for a car seat I know Chiccos is off the list.

I have purchased car seats from Chicco again and an again. I’ve tried a few other brands and always come back to Chicco. They are well made, easy to use, and comfy for my kids. I was hesitant about the Gardenia color but it is much prettier in person.

This car seat is very well built. Looks like it will last for years. Comfortable for long rides with your child. My only concern is that it is very heavy. Since we have to switch cars quite often, it is a bit of an issue. Otherwise highly recommend.

Our 2 toddlers were no longer comfortable with their car seats so we shopped around till we found this one. It’s slim but feels sturdy. If your child falls asleep their head doesn’t fall forward like with other seats. It’s high that kids are able to see out the windows. We highly recommend these car seats!

Love this seat, only complaint is it's difficult to get in the vehicle securely. The directions aren't that great at explaining where the base needs to be on the seat. The other complaint is the cup holders are a little low for my kiddo to reach.

My 5 year old son loves his Chicco MyFit zip Harnessed Booster! He went from the NextFit Zip to this seat and he feels like such a big boy with his 2 cup holders and arm rests. I love that the seat is so easy to clean. I know that I he has the perfect fit every time in this seat and that he will be able to stay harnessed in this seat for a long time with its higher limits! My cousin saw how much we love this seat and bought one for her son as well.

Great car seat

This car seat is great for our 6 year-old grandson. The straps pull away to make it easy for him to get in and out. Tightening the straps is tricky for me (not too tall) but if I stand on the threshold of the SUV’s door it’s better! He loves the little console with lid, makes him feel special — he stores little treasures or treats in there.
I’m looking forward to converting to a booster seat for him when he gets a little older. Keeping him safe in the car is of utmost importance.

Quality and safety

With my two kids I’ve purchased 2 Chicco strollers and this will be the 4th car seat (infant to toddler with each). The quality of this seat is great. Washable, non-toxic fabric, easy install, looks great and most importantly straps in tight and easy in and out. We love to road trip and I feel comfort with my kiddos in Chicco seats.

A: The MyFit car seat chest clip pads are required for use in Harness mode. The shoulder pads, crotch buckle cover and waist belt pads are optional.

Q: Is it safe for my child’s head to extend above the headrest and if so by how much? They are 52” tall which is below the 57” limit of the seat. Answers similar questions just reference the 57” limit but don’t address the head above the headrest question.

A: The MyFit Harness + Booster Car Seat is certified for aircraft use, in HARNESS MODE ONLY. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. This restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use in BOOSTER MODE. Aircraft do not have lap-shoulder belts to secure your child.
