Install with Confidence
Installing the Fit360® into your vehicle is as simple as open-route-close with innovative seat belt installation. Open the LeverLock™ door on the Fit360® base and route the seat belt using the easy-access belt guides. The car’s shoulder and lap belts follow their natural path through the guides for trouble-free belt routing. The built-in LeverLock™ self-tensioning lock system offers superior stability with three points of contact for continuous use from rear-facing (4-40 lbs.) through forward-facing (26.5-65 lbs.) usage. By simply closing and latching the LeverLock™ door, the vehicle belt is tightened in a way that eliminates any movement from front-to-back or side-to-side. This provides a secure installation with minimal effort, ensuring reliable stability over time.
The Fit360® base offers two level indicators and a 6-position leveling system making installation a breeze and providing a secure fit in your vehicle and a proper seated angle for your child’s comfort. Excellent easy to use and install

Installation was a breeze. Love that it has holders for the belt buckle, it makes it much easier to get my son in the car and get him buckled in. It isn’t too bulky and love the optional mirror add on for when he is rear facing.

Very happy with my purchase - the seat is visually appealing and my baby seems very happy and content when putting her in. Not nearly as many tantrums as the previous seat. Rotation is also extremely convenient.

Don’t buy it

I bought this when my son outgrew his infant car seat. He is two and has learned to unhook the magnetic clip. Super unsafe. He did this while riding in the car. Will never use this again. Unable to return it due to it being just over a year since we purchased it.

This is a fantastic car seat. My baby no longer liked his infant car seat so we decided to upgrade to the fit360 and he loves it!! I love the ability to turn the seat to put him in/take him out and the fact that it has the car seat handle holders on the sides. Seems super comfy for my little man too which is a must!

I am able to fit this comfortably rear facing in my Mazda CX70. My daughter loves this car seat. We have traveled with this seat and she has been able to sleep without any issues. I have tried to clean it yet so I’m not sure if it’s going to be difficult. If you’re worried about that I would upgrade to the zip 360 option.

Safe and secure but big

Seat is nice. Features are great. Relatively easy to use. However the seat is HUGE recommend use in an SUV truck or minivan. My sedan is a tight squeeze and the passenger must move the seat forward to accommodate the car seat in a rear facing position. The lock up mechanism seems very secure if not overkill. Will definitely keep the seat in one spot when properly installed.

Very Difficult to loosen straps, but otherwise works great!

The set up was a lot easier than I expected. The car seat was a lot heavier than I expected as well. But as a mom, I was able to do the whole thing on my own. I love that it can turn 360. The biggest frustration with this car seat is that I absolutely cannot loosen the straps on my own with nails. I have to use the bottom of a sharpie pin to stick inside of the hole so that it’ll loosen the straps every single time because no matter how hard I press they will not loosen with my own hands. So as long as I have a tool on board with me, I can use the car seat easily but if I ever was without a tool, I would be in big trouble. The car seat does feel very safe secure and very comfortable for my baby. I would’ve given it five stars if it wasn’t so difficult to listen to the straps.

Originally I had an Evenflo rotating seat and decided to try this one when it was time to get a second for our other vehicle. I went to see them in person (Target) and liked that the Chicco feels more secure in the base. I'm a bit disappointed in the difference in recline; the Evenflo has a rotation adjustment without removing the seat whereas the Chicco seat needs to be removed from the base in order to adjust the recline (the recline adjustment is on the base under the seat). Ultimately, I realized that doesn't matter so much is every day use, but just a little thing to note. The rotation on the Chicco is very easy (although I never had a problem with the Evenflo rotation). You do have to be sure the harness release strap doesn't get stuck when rotating back and forth. One thing I do absolutely love on the Chicco is the crotch buckle that flips forward. Too many times the buckle pad on the Evenflo would come off, and every time I put baby in I had to dig the buckle from underneath her. Thank goodness that's over! Still unsure about the magnetic clip; I've seen others report it doesn't stay buckled which makes me nervous, but it hasn't happened yet on ours (fingers crossed!).

Safety issue alert

Originally wanted the turn style car seat for the moments when loading 2 kids under 2 into the car is difficult during frigid winter months. However, when I have to take the entire seat off of the base and re-tighten the seat belt every other day to feel like it’s not moving around, there’s a major problem. I have way too precious of cargo to trust this unacceptable car seat.

Best 360 car seat on the market

We have been using this car seat in my truck for about a month now. I LOVE IT. I was hesitant to buy a rotating car seat, but this one has completely changed my views! We have tried quite a few different car seats and this one has been our favorite! It is such an easy install with the belt lock off base. We love the convenience of being able to spin the car seat to get our daughter in and out. Our daughter is comfortable and happy in this seat. Love the added bonus of being able to connect the mirror to the base!

The Fit360 is hands down the best car seat I've ever owned! We upgraded from the Fit2 Infant seat which we used a full 2 years for our daughter and now we've upgraded to this. The rotation makes getting her in and out of the car a breeze. The seat is at a wonderful slightly reclined angle so when she has fallen asleep, her head has stayed back and hasn't flopped forward at all in the couple times she's dozed... A HUGE plus in my book! We have used it facing backwards mostly and her legs are a bit long to do that she when you turn it it's a bit of a balancing act trying to not have her legs get in the way and lift them. But it is such a short time we are using it facing backwards it's not really a concern. The ease of turning it with her in it is fine. The only drawback I didn't think of is when your child is facing you when you are buckling them, their feet are on your tummy area... soooo if their shoes are wet or dirty from walking to the car then so are you if you're not careful. Haha. I guess you can turn them before buckling, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the seat rotating! But not the seat's flaw, just an unfortunately disadvantage :)

Good but noisy and limited.

Good product but noisy when empty. Continuously rattles on uneven road surfaces. Also clunky sounds with a child in the seat. I wish there was some kind of reclining option. Setup was fairly tedious.
Fully appreciate the updates to my last Chicco carseat. Strap holster and centre lock staying forward is thoughtful. Magentic chest clip also great upgrade.

Purchased a few weeks ago. Overall quite nice. The base is really easy and straightforward to install. Took a couple minutes at most. The seat seems comfortable and it's easy to adjust for height. The magnetic seatbelt is awesome and easy to use. The only thing I dislike is the "key" to remove seat system. Absolutely hate this idea. Not convenient at all and really makes no sense to use this method. Thankfully we won't be removing the seat too often but if we were to, I'd probably choose a different car seat because I think the key method is that little of utility.

I had been going back and forth on this seat and another one and after I read some of the reviews on the other one it was clear this one was the e right choice for me! We LOVE it! So easy, the rotating aspect is life changing! Plus it helps that you can buy separate bases, but they are a bit expensive, wish they were a bit cheaper. I showed my brother who hasn’t had a young child in many years and he was super shocked and pleasantly surprised, said he could have definitely used these in his days of having little ones! I will definitely be getting another one for our next one!

We bought this car seat about 2 months ago & my son absolutely loves it he always looks so comfortable in it. We actually just bought a second one because we were in an accident last night, and I was in the back with him and that seat kept him so safe he didn’t get jolted at all!! I would definitely recommend to any mommas!!!! This is the seat you want!!

Great Car Seat

We have been using this car seat for a few weeks now, and I love it! It’s so much easier to get my daughter in quickly, especially now that it’s cold out. The one thing I don’t like is how flimsy the straps feel. I feel like they are super thin and get twisted in the buckle part very easily. I also feel like the chest clip is pretty bulky. But overall, I really love it and would recommend it to everyone.

Expensive, noisy rattle, ruining leather seats

I will start off by saying that I drive a 2022 Toyota Sienna. I wanted to love this seat. I love the concept of rotating and especially of rotating when forward facing. I have a competitor seat that only rotates rear facing, so I bought this seat specifically because I could rotate it forward facing for my older child. I have two major complaints. The first, is the ridiculously noisy headrest rattle. Whenever my child is not in the seat, all I can hear in my van is a rattling noise. When I go back and shake the seat a little bit I can hear that the rattling noise is coming from somewhere inside the headrest. There’s no way to fix this. Even when she is in the seat, I can hear it, but not as loudly. My second complaint is the sharp metal piece at the top of the head rest. In order to get a level install, my van captain’s seat has to be almost at a 90° angle. When the seat is at that angle, the metal piece on the headrest scrapes the back of my leather seat. There is a large scratch and gouge taken out of the seat from rotating the seat back-and-forth. Those are my two biggest complaints. I also don’t love how hard it is to move the chest clip up and down after you tighten the harness. Also, for rear facing children, it is super easy to take a foot and press the unlocking mechanism where the seatbelt goes through. Also, is is super hard for me to rotate or when one hand, both with and without a child in the seat. It gets stuck is the locked position sometimes and I have to take two hands and yank it for it to move. For such an expensive car seat none of these things should be an issue. I am 1000% disappointed and angry that I spent hundreds of dollars on this seat. Not worth it.

I love how easy it is to rotate. I only took one star off because of the key needed to detach the seat from the base. The long cord for the key just gets in the way unnecessarily.

A: To prevent ejection or breathing difficulties, proper recline is required. When installing the Fit360 Rotating Convertible Car Seat, check the bubble level on the Base of the Child Restraint.

Q: Can you take this car seat (convertible 360) on airplanes. I own the car seat and there is no FAA approved sticker, and I would like to know if I need to buy a new car seat to fly.

A: The Fit360 Rotating Convertible car seat is approved for use in motor vehicles and is FAA certified for aircraft use. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. Please refer to the product manual for installation on an aircraft.

A: This Child Restraint is certified for use on aircraft. Use this Child Restraint only on FORWARD-FACING aircraft seats.We would also advise to contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. Please also refer to your owner's manual, specifically pages 102-105 for proper installation instructions.

Q: Does the Chicco Fit 360 work with any of the travel strollers? With the insert for the stroller and car seat?

A: The Fit360 ClearTex Rotating Covertible Car Seat is a two part restraint system. The car seat is detachable from the base but is not compatible with any strollers or infant car seat bases. It is only compatible with other Fit360 Bases.
