With a subtle switch from nipple to spout, the Chicco Soft Silicone Spout Transition Cup is the first step in the journey to independent drinking.

Dual valves release air, so baby swallows only the good stuff. The soft silicone spout has a familiar rounded breast-like shape with a satin, non-slip texture and is naturally spill-proof.

No need to worry about messes with this cup. Gentle sipping activates the flow, so you can flip it upside down and all around without leaking a drop: the perfect design for young children who are still developing their motor skills. Plus with no spills, you can easily monitor liquid intake by checking the calibration markings.

Your little one can comfortably hold on to the non-slip handles shaped especially for tiny hands, or you can easily remove them for practice holding a cup. Ergonomic indents guide baby’s hands for proper placement while practicing independent drinking.

Cover the spout with the snap-on cap to keep it clean, or for a quick and easy wash, throw the cap, spout, and cup base in the dishwasher. With minimal parts that are all dishwasher safe, the Chicco Transition Cup is exactly what every parent needs: functional, minimalistic, easy to clean, and loved by kids.

Solid sippy

I got a chance to review this sippy cup as part of the stellar product testing panel, and I’m so glad I did because it made the transition from bottles to cups with my youngest so easy! The handles made it easy for her to hold it, it isn’t huge so she wasn’t overwhelmed and mama loved how easy it is to clean. The mouthpiece got a little wonky if it was sucked on too hard or dropped, but for a leak-free, easy to clean and easy to use cup, it was not a biggie.

Great cup for older infants

I was excited to receive this product from the Stellar Review Panel because as a mom of a 2 year old and a 7 month old I feel like we are always on the hunt for the perfect cup or bottle. This was a great intro cup for my 6 month old, but I wouldn’t recommend it younger as I don’t think he had the coordination for it. The handles do have a nice grip and the changeable spout is definitely a plus.

Needs Work

Initial thoughts on this was that it was awesome (because my toddler immediately took to it). We initially liked it that first week of use and bought another one on Amazon as we expected it to be an ideal transition cup due to the soft drinking spout and handles, however there were some drawbacks to this specific model. Some of the downsides include the nipple inverting due to the soft silicone material and also if the top wasn't lined up with the silicone lining it would leak A LOT! That was a disappointment to find these flaws after already purchasing a second one. I would not re-purchase again and would be hesitant to recommend. I received this cup for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but all opinions are my own.

Functions as it should

The Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup is very nice. The form and function are excellent. It didn’t spill, which was really nice. We went from a bottle to this cup and it was a relatively easy transition. The spout was a good texture and stiffness for my little one. He likes to chew on it! We received this product from Stellar Product Testing Panels to try out. We like it and am glad we got it try out.

Favorite cup!

The Chicco Two Handled Silicone Transition Cup is our new favorite cup! We are so relieved to finally have a cup that our little guy loves. He has never been keen on taking a bottle of any kind and now is excited when he sees this cup! Glad he likes a cup that I do too. The cup is easy to clean and never leaks or spills. We just ordered another one for his grandparent’s house. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us try and review this cup!

Not the cup for us.

I received this Chicco two handled silicone transition cup to test. Initially, straight out of the package, I loved it. It's easy to clean, the handles make it easy to hold for little hands as they are not bulky, and the shape of the cup itself is great for little hands. Unfortunately, that is about where my love for this cup stops. I like the silicone mouthpiece, however the entire top of the cup is designed with a silicone that is super soft. Because of this, my little guy was quickly able to figure out that he could push in the top and make all of his water spill out of the cup and make a mess with it. If this cup was designed with a more sturdy silicone on the lid, so that babies couldn't push in the top, it would make for an amazing cup. I also had the issue that I, myself, pressed down the top of the lid, and inadvertently spilled the juice I had in it all over the little bag I had the cup stored in. If this cup was redesigned just a little bit to help prevent the pressing in of the lid, it would be an absolutely great cup. Unfortunately though, because of this issue, it is just not the cup for us and I don't recommend it if you have curious babies who love to press and smoosh things. Thanks to the Stellar Panel for sending us this cup in exchange for my honest review!

Great for kids transitioning form bottle to cup!

I received this cup from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my daughter. She was able to easily pick it up when it was full and drink easily from the nipple. The soft spout made it easy for my daughter to get the liquid out and there was no spilling or mess. I thought it was a great design for small children finishing the bottle and transitioning to cups and would definitely purchase it again.
