The Chicco MyFit® Zip Harness+Booster is a that is designed to grow with children from toddler through big kid with easy transition from to vehicle seat belt. Nine headrest positions accommodate growth throughout both modes and work together with a four-position recline to support proper posture. An extra-deep seat with padding is sloped and contoured for superior comfort.
Reassuring Protection
offers two layers of protection with a rigid shell and that surround the head and torso. The seat shell is also reinforced with a steel frame for superior impact protection.
Zip & Wash Convenience
The MyFit® Zip seat/backrest cushions feature a convenient zip-off top layer that is easily removable for machine washing while still maintaining use of the standard fabrics underneath.

The MyFit® is designed with smart functionality that makes it the easiest to install simply, accurately, and securely every time. A four-position leveling system and bubble levels help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. Usage in Harness Mode
In harness mode, the MyFit® Zip is designed for children who are at least 2 years old, between 25-65 pounds, and up to 54 inches tall.
Usage in Booster Mode
In booster mode, the MyFit® Zip is designed for children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-100 pounds, and between 38-57 inches tall.
Certifications
The MyFit® Zip is FAA certified for aircraft use; meets or exceeds Frontal Impact Standard FMVSS 213.
Care and Maintenance
Hand wash fabrics using mild soap and water, or machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Hang to dry. For complete care and maintenance instructions, refer to the label on the product and to the product’s instruction manual.

It’s a Winner!

4year old that I’m not quite ready to put into a booster. This is easy to install with zero! wiggle. Easy to install the child too! He is comfortable and able to reach his drink in the holder. Cleaned up well after our first ice cream disaster. Definitely a winner.

Great option for toddlers!

We upgraded our 3-year-old to the MyFit about a month ago. She absolutely loves the purple color and will often point out the arm rests to others :) She can easily climb in and out of it, which is helpful with multiple kids. The adjustable features are great, and we look forward to using it for years to come!

Comfy Seat, Terrible Warranty, Customer Service

I have absolutely loved my Chicco seat, it is the most comfortable seat my daughter loves it.
However after my kiddo got 4 viruses making her throw up and have diarrhea in her seat multiple times and we ended up inpatient for 4 days.
I cleaned the seat PER Chiccos instructions, hosed it down (several times), used a tooth brush, pipe cleaner, dish soap, set in the sun and it still smells AWFUL..
I just bought this seat Sept 2024 so they advised to file a warranty claim, I just received a call from Chicco advising me how to clean the seat AGAIN, and that this isn’t a warranty issue so there is nothing they will do becauseuse it’s still “functional”
The puke and diarrhea is literally embedded in the cracks of the seat and I’m not allowed to submerge the seat to soak it in an attempt to get it out of the cracks…
Just thought a heads up to parents who spend the extra money on a more luxurious seat… it isn’t worth it because if something like this happens it’s ruined and you’re out your money unless you want to make your kiddo and self suffer by having a stinky seat in your car.

Unsafe, headrest glue came completely off and no padding now because it won’t stay in place.

For being an expensive model, Chicco MyFit LE was built pretty cheap. I’ve been waiting to see it recalled and a new one offered to those who wasted their money.
I bought it for the luxury, safety, and so it would grow with my child in height as a booster so I wouldn’t have to replace it with another seat in the future.
The luxury didn’t last long as the compartment wouldn’t stay in the cupholder. Also the cupholders are half rubber and ripped very easily within the first year, as well as the headrest came apart within months after buying it brand new. That seems very unsafe and not comfortable to my son. He was always pushing it up as if it is a pillow. Now it is completely gone because the styrofoam literally broke into pieces and would not stay, so he has no protection on the back of his head. It is just a thin uncomfortable piece of plastic headrest. Maybe the manufacturer forgot to glue it all together, and I bought a dud. Who knows?
I continue to use it though, because it was so expensive and my son is a huge kid who still needs to be in a five point harness booster.
It is hard to find a seat like this that is made for tall kids, who are still young, and cognitively aren’t mature enough to use a booster with lap belt. I very much like the design. I just wish it would’ve been durable and stronger built so it would be a safer car seat.
It is on the heavy side.

Lovely, STURDY booster. Easy to install. We like it almost as much as the next fit zip. The only reason I took off a star is that the cover zips off in multiple pieces making it a little confusing to take off and on, but it seems to be necessary to get a proper install. Would buy again.

Q: Is it safe for my child’s head to extend above the headrest and if so by how much? They are 52” tall which is below the 57” limit of the seat. Answers similar questions just reference the 57” limit but don’t address the head above the headrest question.

A: The MyFit Harness + Booster Car Seat is certified for aircraft use, in HARNESS MODE ONLY. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. This restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use in BOOSTER MODE. Aircraft do not have lap-shoulder belts to secure your child.

A: The MyFit Zip car seat is not available with ClearTex fabric. All standard Chicco car seat materials comply with FMVSS 302 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Flammability of Interior Materials) using a minimum amount of chemical treatment. Chicco ClearTex car seat fabrics, foam, and labels pass government flammability standards with NO added chemical treatments. The Chicco ClearTex car seat collection is for parents who prefer ALL chemical treatments be eliminated from the materials in the car seat used by their child.
