The Chicco MyFit® is designed to grow with children from toddler through big kid with easy transition from forward-facing to booster mode. Nine headrest positions accommodate growth throughout both modes and work together with a four-position recline to support proper posture. Usage in Forward-Facing Harness Mode
In harness mode, the MyFit® is designed for children who are at least 2 years old, between 26.5-65 lbs (12-29.5 kg) and up to 54" (137 cm) tall.
Usage in Booster Mode
In booster mode, the MyFit® is designed for children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-100 lbs (18-45.3 kg) and between 38-57" (97-145 cm) tall.
Certifications
The MyFit® is FAA certified for aircraft; meets or exceeds Frontal Impact Standard FMVSS 213b.

Machine wash fabrics in cold water on delicate cycle. Do not use bleach; hang to dry.

No cinch latch

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it doesn’t have the cinch latch system. I thought it did. I realized the one that does is the my fit zip air which has been out of stock for months now. Otherwise my daughter LOVES the seat and feels so grown up in it. She can even sleep comfortably it in. We love our Chicco seats!!

This is the best car seat so far and I have owned 3 other brands. We like it so much we purchased one for each car. The seatbelt instructions are clear, the level system helps me feel confident it’s on right. I love the adjustable features-headrest, harness. The harness is super easy to use and my son says the car seat is comfortable. The zip feature is so easy to zip, clean and re-zip to go! Nice duel cup holders. My previous 2 car seats are in the garbage after many issues. So happy with the Chicco Myfit.

I was able to compare this model to the my fit harness and booster car seat and this one is easier to clean because of the zip function. The armrest are a faux leather that is also easier to clean. The cushion is more soft and comfortable. Installation was so easy and adjusting the harness takes seconds. I love the detachable cup holders (2). I only wish the seat was a little wider because with a winter coat my 3 year old is a little restricted.

Reviewing after having the car seats for 2yrs.
Honestly, I purchased a car seat in 2019 and I really like how bulky it is which meant safe and easy to use. I went ahead and purchase another one the year 2020. I didn't mind investing on these car seat but a few days ago when I was putting my daughter in her car seat I noticed that the head cover had unclip and when I was going to clip it back I noticed that the foam was broken in half and the foam where it attaches to the plastic had came off, I'm guessing the glue wasn't strong enough that caused it to break. It was upsetting to find one of my car seats with this problem. I have purchased cheeper, affordable car seat and didn't have this kind of problem. Not sure, if I would recommend because of my problem maybe it was just that car seat other then that it's a good car seat easy to use and I have own many different brands, mom of 4 children.

Better than Garco

While having the Graco nautilus 80 elite for our 4 years daughter, I couldn't stand it straps.
They get rotated all the time in the buckle and standing in the sun to organize it happened too often.
Myfit doesn't suffer from this annoying part (so far) lije the Nextfit was in the past.

This seat is great. It is a nice feature to have the harness and seat belt options. The seat allows for growth over the years. The ability to recline the seat is helpful to keep kids heads from snapping back and forth during naps in the car.

The seat overall seems very safe as with all Chicco seats, my only concerns were that the buckles all the way under the child when seated, and it makes it difficult to retrieve them. The other difference i noticed was that the cover seems a bit more foam feeling than our convertible nextfit was. The only other concern was being able to tightly fasten the seat using the seatbelt in the car. Even pulling the seatbelt as tight as possible the carseat still tipped back and forth.

Grandson loves it

He can fall asleep and not have his head fall forward. He doesn't seem to be uncomfortable because he is no longer as cranky when riding in this seat. He is up high enough he can see the trucks going by which makes him happy. I highly recommend this seat.

Built well, extended harness wear!

Bought this because it allows for 4 extra inches of height to remain in the harness. My daughter is lightweight but also tall so it was extremely hard to find a booster that allowed her to stay in the harness a little longer. Seems to be built well! Also chose this because of the steel frame and rigid shell. After watching the very few crash tests available for viewing And researching I felt very confident with this purchase!

Got this for my grandchild for my car, for when she visits me. The infant conversion car seat left her to squished.
This car seat is wider snd much easier for her to get in. Harness fits better and the car seat itself was easier to install.

I wish I would have purchased this car seat a long long time ago. First off, it’s very clean looking, not bulky, & fairly easy to put in. Secondly, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how high my boy can sit up, he can actually see what’s going on for once! God forbid I get pregnant again but if it happens, this will be purchased first thing!

It’s honestly amazing and looks so comfortable. I’ve always wanted a booster seat that my baby can be comfortable. She outgrew the one I had by Graco and I bought her something from Evenflo that I honestly wasn’t satisfied with. I decided to search some good quality boosters and this one came up. No lie, it’s a good investment! She even says that she loves it.

I have had a number of car seats - all of them requiring rethreading of the harness when my daughters grew. To say the least, it was the bane of my existence because each one was different and and some were just not easy to adjust. This seat is amazing in that it eliminates the shoulder adjustment, since it slides with the adjustment of the head protection. The between the legs adjustment is just a minor adjustment - no unthreading required! Thank you Chico!

Had to buy a new car seat because the car was in an accident (little man not in car). Used the back up car seat while car shopping but he didn’t like the Graco toddler size as well as his Chicco one we had previously had. He loves his new one with the padding in the seat and the arm rests. Highly recommend

Q: Is it safe for my child’s head to extend above the headrest and if so by how much? They are 52” tall which is below the 57” limit of the seat. Answers similar questions just reference the 57” limit but don’t address the head above the headrest question.

A: The MyFit Harness + Booster Car Seat is certified for aircraft use, in HARNESS MODE ONLY. Contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. This restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use in BOOSTER MODE. Aircraft do not have lap-shoulder belts to secure your child.

A: The MyFit Zip car seat is not available with ClearTex fabric. All standard Chicco car seat materials comply with FMVSS 302 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Flammability of Interior Materials) using a minimum amount of chemical treatment. Chicco ClearTex car seat fabrics, foam, and labels pass government flammability standards with NO added chemical treatments. The Chicco ClearTex car seat collection is for parents who prefer ALL chemical treatments be eliminated from the materials in the car seat used by their child.
