My daughter sits so comfortably in this seat and it’s an easy install!

This car seat is great!

Held child perfectly in a rollover crash!

I bought this car seat twice. One for each vehicle between my husband and I. We loved the extra padding which made our babies feel comfortable in the car seats. As our youngest aged we were able to ask if the seat was comfortable and he told us it was. This car seat also saved my son’s life. My 4 year old and I were in a roll over accident a few days ago. I rolled 2 times and landed on my wheels 75’ off the road. I had hit ice at 70 mph on the interstate. The paramedics, state troopers, fire fighters and drs all applauded the seat. I will never not recommend this seat. It held up amazingly! We just purchased the all in one as he’s getting out of baby stage and are excited to be alive and a part of the chicco family.

5 star all the way!!

State of the art car seat ! Best is that it’s so easy to clean with an easy removal of the lining. Great choice!!

Seems sturdy

Seems safe/sturdy and you can really cinch down on the latch system, but definitely more bulky than I expected (transitioning from the regular key fit), with higher sides to put baby up and over. The straps don’t have any feature to keep them out of the way, so always having to pull the straps up and over baby sitting on the crotch strap.

Easy to Install

The easiest car seat to install a far and feels very well made. The material is high quality.

Easily installed within minutes

Love the super chinch technology makes for a great install, with the help of 9 recline positions, the level bubble, and of course READING THE MANUAL COVER TO COVER took me only 4-5 minutes to get a solid install. The zip cover is amazing for easy cleaning and the cooling fabric helps with our Louisiana summers. Will purchase another if we have another child or happen to be in an accident.

Pain in the rear

Pain in the butt to transfer from car to car or install in an older vehicle with the seatbelt. Super bulky car seat, leaves little to no room for a front passenger in smaller vehicles or in my case a truck with an extended cab. Hard to get toddler in and out of the seat due to the high sides leaving an awkward opening space to cram the kid through.

Don’t waste your money, get the original nextfit instead!

I really wanted this car seat so that I could keep my daughter rear facing comfortably longer. I opted to get this one over the others because of that reason. We ended up buying just the regular Chicco next fit for my husbands car too. Well this car seat is spacious sure, but it’s hard to get the baby out with the hidden button but we got over that part. Then after a year and a half the straps wore out and now you can’t loosen it at all. Only tightens. My husbands nextfit original version tho, Great condition. no issues whatsoever. Don’t waste your money on this one!

Quality seat

Really nice. Easily cleanable and comfortable for the kids. We put our 3 month old in this one for a 2 hour drive and she did well.

Great seat and easy install

This car seat is great. I bought it for its safety ratings but as a bonus the installation is a breeze. Our 6 month old baby loves the seat and she has a better view in it than her infant car seat due to the 9 different seat positions.

Great car seat which has some room for parental convenience features.

This car seat is great! It’s big (will not fit comfortably in a compact car) and feels very solid as if it will protect the baby for any accidents. I wish it had a way to hook the belts to the side to hold it out of the way when putting the baby in. I’m constantly having to dig for the bottom clips from behind / underneath the baby and generally annoying him with the car seat buckling process which could be be made easier.

Amazing carseat has it all!!!

I bought this after my son outgrew his keyfit, and I am so glad i did. It is SOOO comfortable! He absolutely loves it to nap in, and take trips in. The extra leg room was my selling point. He is not squished back there at all. This carseat feels so cool he never gets sweaty even in Aeizona heat. I will always vouch for this brand for anything baby. Going to get another for when my newborn leaves the childrens hospital. A carseat I fully trust for both comfort and durability. It is so easy to clean too! Lastly, the overall look is very pleasing.

Most comfortable seat in the market

Most comfortable seat for my kids! Had garco, those had a nightmare belt setting that was flipping all the time, on the Chicco it almost never happens All my three kids enjoy and sleep peacefully on our long rides

Great Car Seat

4th, 5th, & 6th purchase of this seat (3 vehicles to equip)! It has worked wonderfully for our 2 year old so when our 10 month old was ready to transition, no brainer to get him one! Love the adjustability of recline and head rest to get that perfect fit for either child. We have this set in both vehicles! Absolutely LOVE that we are able to keep each kid rear facing longer with weight, even tho I think our height is going to kick us forward facing sooner.

Great seat for past 4 years

I bought this when my son was 8 months old and an extremely chunky infant (90th percentile for height and weight). He is now 4.5 years old and exactly 40 pounds and almost 40in tall (average size). A fairly slender and slightly tall preschooler. I drive a 2015 Subaru Impreza; his seat is located behind the passenger seat. Rear facing - getting my heavy infant into the seat was sometimes tough on my back. I'm 5'2" but my son was heavy and I had to lift him over the sides of the seat. It feels unfair to complain about the carseat's high sides when that's one of the primary reasons I purchased this seat, but it took some navigating that the other car seat did not require. However, I don't regret it and would deal with the aches again for the sense of safety. The adjustments and set up were easy so moving the straps as my son grew didn't take much time once I knew what I was doing (YouTube videos helped). I do recommend a headrest mirror since seeing baby is difficult in rear facing position. My son has acid reflux and later grew into motion sickness so the mirror was extremely helpful. I also recommend a way to cool the backseat since this carseat holds the heat and makes baby sweat profusely. Finally, always remember to cover with a blanket since the seat gets hot and stays hot in summer. In winter, I keep a blanket balled on the seat since the seat is very cold even after preheating the car. Forward facing- around age 3 due to his motion sickness. Also, his legs were long so he always had to sit criss cross applesauce when rear facing. Again, easy to move the straps and adjust following instructions. I keep his book bin on the floor in front of his seat so he can climb up by himself. I tuck the straps behind/on the sides of the head rest. As others mentioned, the strap doesn't feel long enough for a larger child- I have it completely released to it's full length in order for my son to get in and out comfortably. If my son had a stockier build them we would have had to change seats at least 6 months ago. In general - I would recommend. This seat is built to last and is very safe- an important feature in any vehicle but especially for me since my car is small compared to most others. It's easy to clean in our forward facing washer and I dry by laying flat near the floor heating vents. I actually bought a second cover because my son vomited at least once a week until almost age 4 (spot cleaning when possible but machine wash when messy). The seat gets hot easily which was a bummer with the "air" design but that's all seats in my experience. I kept the seat covered and used the noggle to keep him cool. It's also bulky even though it fits nicely in the back of my compact sedan. No one over 5'2" has used the passenger seat since I had my son (also a problem with the infant seat so not exclusive to this seat). The seat is wide and tall enough to fit a preschooler, maybe even a kindergartner, but the length of the straps will have me seeking a new seat for the summer after 4+ years of use. My biggest gripe- no pockets for the straps! That's probably the only function our Graco E2F has that I wish the Chicco had. Tucking away the straps is a lot easier than digging them out from under a chunky infant or whining toddler.

Great car seat. No regrets.

I have had my car seat since January 2019. This car seat has been great. I have washed it several times and it has held up great. It’s easy to loosen the straps and get my kid out. Than when I put my kid back in, it’s easier to get the buckles back on and tighten it. I have had no problems with this seat and very happy about my purchase. The extra length is comfortable on my kids legs. I was able to keep my kid rear facing until three. I could have gone longer if motion sickness wasn’t an issue.

Thanks

Larger size, less comfortable for older kids

Car seat doesn’t fit well in a small SUV rear-facing OR a forward facing as it is probably 1-2 inches larger than the older model of the Nextfit Zip. The lower leg button is also closer into the groin, so my 4yo said it was hurting him. I wouldn’t recommend this seat.

Looks amazing but quality is not good

I bought three of these as I had triplets. I have only had them for three months. It says you can wash them. I did on a delicate cycle and air dried them. Then, I noticed they were all ripped. Not worth the money. I’d love to get the replacements but am afraid it will happen again ! Not happy at all !

There does not seem to

There does not seem to be enough strap length to make it easy to buckle child in/out.

Great carseat!!!!

Purchased for my grandson. Loved all the safety and comfort features of this carseat. My daughter tells me he fits perfectly in seat and loves that it can still be installed backwards since he is 11 mos., and then when the time comes it can be turned around. I looked at alot of carseats and this was by far the best!!!!!

We love it! ❤

We've been more than satisfied with the purchase of this carseat. What attracted me to this model besides the safety is the zipper remove for the cover for easy wash.

Car Seat

I love the car seat but hate that the straps don’t adjust as well as the infant carrier straps do. It’s a challenge getting my daughter in and out of the seat each time.

So far so good!

We used the Chicco Keyfit2 until recently when my baby outgrew that. We purchased this as the next size up and are really happy with it! Way to get in and out and she is small enough that we can still use the latch system for securing the car seat which is really easy. Works great so far!
