Usage
The KeyFit® 35 Base is designed for use with the KeyFit®, KeyFit® 30 and KeyFit® 35 Infant Car Seat. This base is NOT compatible with KeyFit® Max Infant Car Seats.
Care and Maintenance
Sponge clean plastics using warm water and mild soap. Towel dry. Refer to the instruction manual for complete care and maintenance instructions.

This is the system that my son and his wife wanted for their first baby. So my husband and I purchased the system. Baby is due in October 2023. They need a second base because they have a second car. If it works as it predicts it will this will be fabulous!!!

Hard to install

I bought this as an extra base for my grandson when he visits. As a base, it is very secure once installed. I found it extremely difficult to install and tighten with hand arthritis. I had to get a neighbor to help. I never had a problem with a different manufacturer that my daughter used for her kids. Otherwise...it clicks in and out once installed. I did cancel my direct order from Chicco and reordered on Amazon because they could deliver much faster.

My husband particularly loved this base! He said it was so easy to install (and he tested taking it out as well), level it out and tighten it.. the extended leg room will be great as our baby gets bigger, as our boys are super tall!

A: You would want to make sure no more than 4 inches (10 cm) of the Child Restraint base is past the edge of the vehicle seat.

A: In the well or groove of the base there is a white product sticker that contains the Model Name, Model Number, Serial Number, Date of Manufacture (DOM) and the Do Not Use After Date (Expiration Date). The KeyFit 35 Base and Car Seat have a 6 year life span.
