The KidFit® Booster, the KidFit® Zip Plus boasts bonus zip-off cushions PLUS new quick-release LATCH for easy removal. Designed with 10 positions of protection, KidFit® Zip Plus features a rigid shell and for head and torso protection throughout every stage, while integrated side wings provide further impact protection.
Built for Protection, Stability, and Comfort
Premium and a one-pull tightener stabilize the seat for easy in/out and keep it secured when unoccupied. The upgraded quick-release LATCH provides convenient one-hand removal from the vehicle LATCH system for easy transfer between seats and vehicles.
A contoured Plus seat with triple-foam padding provides comfort and support in all the right places, and a 2-position backrest adjusts to mimic the vehicle seat position. The backrest is also removable to create a backless booster for older children.
Convenient and Road Trip Ready
KidFit® Zip Plus also includes stylish, quilted seat and backrest cushions that easily zip on to provide extra padding and protect the fabrics underneath. They’re just as easy to zip off for cleaning or storage. All fabrics, including armrest covers, are removable and machine washable.
Two dishwasher-safe fold out of the way when empty and are easy to remove for cleaning. A bonus storage console fits into either CupFolder™ to carry big kid necessities.

Usage
KidFit® Zip Plus is designed for children at least 4 years of age, between 38-57" tall, between 40-100 lbs. in high-back mode and 40-110 lbs. in backless mode, and can sit relatively still in the same seated position throughout the car ride.

Care and Maintenance

Love it so much with the exception of 2 things

Love this booster seat. Comfy and easy to install. However, I wish there was something that makes securing the seat belt easier. The seat belt is difficult to pull across. Also, the snack tray is awesome, but constantly falls out of the cup holder. It should click in more securely. But other than that, I'm happier with this than my Maxi Cosi 3in1.

Easy Peasy to install.

Per my daughter, this booster was easy to install and took very little time to get it in the car. It fit her 6 year old comfortably and securely. A good buy.

Easy to assemble/install. Our taller 5 yo talks about it being comfortable and that he loves his new seat. The best part is that he can easily buckle himself so this helps tremendously with carline procedure at school.

booster seat

not as easy as you would think to put together. seems sturdy. what i don't like is it was made in 2022 and state's only use till 2030. if they are only supposed to be used for 8 years then we should only get one made the year we bought it. automatically we have lost 2 years of use!!!

Doesn't feel safe

Super disappointed. Definitely returning. No matter how hard I tighten the latch system, it would not tighten enough. The seat was super wobbly, and there is no top tether to secure the seat.

A: The Latches on the KidFit booster seat are not required for use. They do keep the car seat in the vehicle seating position when the car seat is unoccupied. We recommend buckling the vehicle seat belt over the car seat when it is unoccupied so the car seat doesn't slide around .

Q: So why is my bottom strap where clip at so loose? I can't figure how to get it tighten. I haven't used it 8 months because I had brain surgery and took out the niece and nephew car seats but need to put back in.

A: "To adjust the recline position of the KidFit 2-in-1 Booster: 1. First locate the backrest connection release tab on the back side of the seat bottom. 2. Then, pull down on the release tab and adjust the backrest back into the 2nd recline position. 3.Carefully place KidFit booster back into vehicle seat and secure child correctly within the booster. "

Q: null I just purchased this product based on my experiences with Chicco. My daughter had her first seat with the base and removable carrier, then the next seat after that. With both the base, and then the next seat, I was able to cinch them down so tight that they left impressions in the seat. I can't seem to make this tight. What am I missing?
