Convenience multiplied! Purchase an additional base for your Fit360® Rotating Convertible Car Seat (sold separately). With secure, one-time installation, the second base can be used in another vehicle allowing you to move the Fit360® seat from base-to-base.
Installing the Fit360® into your vehicle is as simple as open-route-close with innovative one-time seat belt installation. Open the LeverLock™ door on the Fit360® base and route the seat belt using the easy-access belt guides. The car’s shoulder and lap belts follow their natural path through the guides for trouble-free belt routing. The built-in LeverLock™ self-tensioning lock system offers superior stability with three points of contact for continuous use from rear-facing through forward-facing usage. By simply closing and latching the LeverLock™ door, the vehicle belt is tightened in a way that eliminates any movement from front-to-back or side-to-side. This provides a secure installation with minimal effort, ensuring reliable stability over time. Top tether can be used in both and travel.
The Fit360® base offers two level indicators and a 6-position leveling system making installation a breeze and providing a secure fit in your vehicle.
Once the base is installed in your vehicle, insert the seat into the base, secure your child and rotate into a ready-to-ride position. The visual red and green found on both sides of the base clearly indicate if the seat is properly positioned (green) or not (red) for travel in a moving vehicle.

It's complicated!

My son and his wife requested that I get this car seat base for my car. I did. It was expensive--over $100 for the base only! And I did not get free shipping! I am not rich. This was a lot.
My son installed the base and showed me how to insert the car seat. That works well.
I do not transport my grandson in my car often. I wanted to remove the base from my car for an overnight trip with friends. It turns out that I cannot remove the base without the "key"--that is attached to the car seat! My son's family was on vacation, so the car seat was hundreds of miles away! My friends and I had to travel in cramped style because the car seat base would not budge from the seat in my car. Ugh!

Nice product. Frustrating item
Is that I had to return it and I had to pay the cost. Based upon its size and funny shape it was $84 to ship it back.

We absolutely LOVE this car seat. I was apprehensive since it just recently hit the market but it is soooo nice. I absolutely love that we can turn our daughter to get her out more comfortably. The seat itself is comfy and roomy. I love that there are safety features that indicate when it is in the right position. A big plus is that you can buy extra bases so that you can switch the seat out easier. My daughter seems to be really comfortable in this and has a lot of room to grow! 10/10!

A: The Fit360 ClearTex Rotating Convertible Car Seat is certified for use on an aircraft. The Fit360 ClearTex Rotating Car Seat is always to be used with the Fit360 Base. It is not to be installed inside the vehicle without the use of the base.

A: The Fit360 car seat base can be installed LATCH with a child weighing between 4lbs and 30lbs rear facing and 22lbs and 35lbs forward facing. Once your child reaches 30lbs rear facing or 35lbs forward facing you must switch to the seat belt installation which is the preferred installation because it is very easy. The tether anchor must but used when installing the Fit360 base if there is a tether anchor present in the seating position you are using. You can double check that by referencing your vehicle owner’s manual.
