Liteway or Liteway Plus Foam Handle Cover

This handle cover arrived but no directions or tips for installation. I can’t get it on my liteway stroller! So checked the website, nothing there either. So not happy.

The foam cover fits perfectly once I figured it out how to get it on. A little soapy water on a paper towel helps it go over the endcap.

I bought 4 because I have 2 liteway plus strollers. You have to cut off the old foam. The black plastic end does not come off. Add a little bit of olive oil on the inside of the new handle cover and it will slide on SO easy. Love it!

Definitely glad I read the reviews. The oil made it a lot easier to put on! My only complaint is how much shipping costs for such a lightweight product.

Thanks to the reviewers who recommended using oil to help get the foam onto the handle! I am not sure how it is possible to get the foam on without it. I used olive oil and ended up needing to rub it over the bar and edge as well as covering handle of a wooden spoon with oil and then applying it to the inside of the foam. After that the foam went on pretty easily.

I used a little drop of baby oil and it turned out being much easier to install. It should come with this instruction... would make everyone's life easier.... I own a red stroller and the old foam had a black and red design. Chicco should offer this option as well.

This is a great product just like the original. It is very hard to get on, however. After struggling my husband suggested oil or grease. I used just a tiny drop of baby oil in the part of the replacement as I slid it on and over the edge of the handle and then twisted it all the way down. It worked like a charm!

So my Liteway plus foam handles tore off after years of use from my first child. Bought these in hopes to avoid purchasing a new stroller and worked perfectly. They are a little difficult to put on and take patience. Took a total for 20-30 minutes with break to get both on. I gave a good rating on the design of the product due to the difficulty of putting on. Perhaps if there was a wrap around style for replacement to make install quicker and easier or on the newer strollers allow the end caps to be removed. Not sure if the quality would be as good though on something that wasn't like the original or if there would be a design flaw in removable caps. I'm sure all these have been considered by the designers for quality purposes.
