Replace the head and body insert on your KeyFit® Infant Car Seat or KeyFit® 30 Infant Car Seat. The body insert is designed to help ensure a better fit for infants who weigh between 4 and 11 lbs. The head insert can be used with or without the body insert.
Your child's safety is our top priority. As a reminder, please never use a car seat that has been in an accident, even if there is no visible damage. Also, do not use the child restraint if any part of the harness is damaged.

Compatibility
Compatible with all KeyFit® and KeyFit® 30 models, including those purchased as part of a travel system. It is NOT compatible with any KeyFit® 35, KeyFit® Max or Fit2® car seat.
Care and Maintenance
Fabrics may be spot-cleaned with mild soap and water, or machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Hang to dry. Do not bleach.

Great Product

I kept my original Chico infant car seat (in really good condition) but didn't keep the insert. I am so glad this product was available to buy separately and in various colors. We got the green since we are having a boy and I love it. There are so many products that don't offer some of the add-ons separately and that is unfortunate. We have a pack and play from Graco that we will probably not use for the infant because we got rid of the sleeper insert and they don't offer it at all....you have to buy an entirely new pack and play... so, instead of spending maybe $30.00 for the insert they expect you to pay over $130.00. Not going to happen. For this reason, I really like Chico. I really appreciate their product offerings.

Best head and body insert ever

If your looking for a great head and body insert this is for you. I have the chicco Magic and that head and body insert does not work. But this you can use this insert for a long time.

Q: Is it safe to remove the headrest insert when baby requires the top should strap height?

A: The newborn body insert must be removed once the child reaches 11lbs. You may continue to use the head insert. The head insert must be fastened in the slot above where the shoulder straps go through the back rest. It cannot be fastened in the same slot as the harness straps. Once the harness straps are in the upper most slot you must discontinue using the head insert.

A: Once an order is placed we have about 1-2 business day processing time from our warehouse. Item is delivered by USPS in approximately 5-7 business days.

Q: Are there any car seat inserts for key fit 30, for babies weighing more than 11 lbs?

A: The Head & Body Insert is to be used up until the child reaches 11lbs. You may then remove the body portion and keep the head portion in as long as it is not installed within the same slots as the harness. It should be installed in the slots above the harness straps. There are no additional inserts that are to be used once the child reaches the 11lbs.

A: The KeyFit Head & Body Insert is not compatible with the KeyFit 35 Infant Car Seat. This particular car seat does have its own Head & Body Insert that is availble to purchase by calling into our Customer Service Dept. at 1-877-424-4226. We are available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST. A: The Chicco KeyFit or KeyFit 30 Head & Body Insert is compatible with all KeyFit and KeyFit 30 models, including the KeyFit 30 Zip car seat. It is not compatible with any KeyFit 35 or Fit2 car seat.
