Easiest to Install Correctly
NextFit® features a 9-position ReclineSure® leveling system and RideRight® bubble level-indicators to help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. Premium LATCH connectors and a SuperCinch® force-multiplying tightener help achieve a secure installation with a fraction of the effort. (When it’s time to switch from rear-facing to forward-facing, the LATCH strap passes easily through the built-in slide path for proper repositioning.) NextFit® also has integrated belt lock-offs for alternate installation with the vehicle seat belt.
From Newborn through Preschool
NextFit® is built for growth with a removable infant insert and a six-position headrest. As the headrest is raised, the shoulder strap position also raises and widens to accommodate growing children without re-threading. The harness also features a one-pull tightener and removable, machine-washable shoulder pads.

Care and Maintenance:
Fabrics may be spot cleaned. Hand wash using mild soap and water, or machine washed in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Do not use bleach, hang to dry. For plastics, sponge clean using warm water and mild soap: towel dry.

Not impressed with quality of padding

I bought these for my twins after loving the keyfits - after using for a short time they began pilling- and are filthy - I have washed them on gentle and hung to dry and are now falling apart - and they are not easy to take off and put back together - I purchased these with the intentions of being the only carseat we would need until they were in booster seats ...I thought wrong - and they charge $60-$80 for replacement covers - I think I will just buy a different brand carseat instead

Looked like a great carseat...

I genuinely loathe this carseat. I purchased this for my son after using the Keyfit. I liked the sounds of the features, it seemed like it was going to be so easy to install and adjust. Not the case. After reading the directions over and over and watching many YouTube videos, I still dont feel like I had the latch system properly installed; the seat NEVER feels snug. I’ve also been using this seat for less than a year and the fabric looks like it’s been through ten kids, it’s very worn and pilled with tiny little holes on the seat. It also takes up a lot of room. I have two other car seats by two other manufacturers, one in Grandmas car and one in Dad’s truck, and I have no issues with either of those, they install very easily and the fabric isn’t falling apart in either. I wish I had known what a pain this seat was going to be, I never would have purchased it.

Pilling

I know this to be an issue on mine & my friends she has the nextfit zip. The car seat is nice and comfortable for my son but extremely heavy and bulky. The pilling is out of control. We’ve barely had this car seat for a year and a half and within 6 months of having it the pilling all over the fabric was annoying. I wouldn’t get this car seat again or recommend it. It’s too expensive for that to be happening.

I'm in love with chicco carseats! They are great! Supercinch really is super easy! Lots of soft padding, the material feels soft and not scratchy. If you also want a Carseat that comes with great customer service! They will really go out of their way to help you keep your kids safe! I can't say enough about them!

Love the seat

We have had this car seat for just over 2 years now and love it. Its heavy and holds my son in snug. He's very tall but we were able to extend rearfacing with no issues and he never seemed uncomfortable. My only complaints are it's a bit hard for me to tighten as easily as my husband, its difficult to use the latch system when transferring vehicles and the neck straps rub on my son's neck. These may be issues that have been addressed by now. Overall we love it and will be using it with our next one with a new cover.

Cannot machine wash it

I bought it but the fact that I cannotwash it make it worthless. We most likely will be changing seats in the future so I feel we lost out money here.
