The KidFit® ClearTex® Plus is designed with 10 positions of protection, plus quick-release LATCH for easy removal and no flame retardant chemicals. The easy-adjust headrest ensures proper belt positioning and integrated side wings offer two layers of protection for the head & torso with a rigid shell and .

The KidFit® ClearTex® Plus is equipped with premium and a one-pull tightener to stabilize the seat and keep it secured when unoccupied. The quick-release LATCH provides convenient, one-hand removal for easy transfer between seats or vehicles.
Built for Comfort
The contoured seat with double foam padding provides comfort and support in all the right places, and a 2-position backrest adjusts to mimic the vehicle seat position. The backrest is also removable to create a backless booster for older children.
Featuring flame retardant-free materials, KidFit® ClearTex® Plus is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality.
For additional parent convenience, all fabrics, including armrest covers, are removable and machine washable. Two dishwasher safe are easy to remove for cleaning and fold in to save space when not in use.

Usage
KidFit® ClearTex Plus is for children who are at least 4 years of age, between 38-57" tall, between 40-100 lbs. in high-back mode and 40-110 lbs. in backless mode and can sit relatively still in the same seated position throughout the car ride.

The KidFit® ClearTex Plus meets or exceeds Frontal Impact Standard FMVSS 213.
Care and Maintenance
Hand wash fabrics using mild soap and water, or machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle using mild detergent. Hang to dry. For complete care and maintenance instructions, refer to the product’s instruction manual.

Easy to use + safety features

I may be a *tad* biased because I've been using car seats since the early 90's and with 6 kids plus 3 grandkids, I've had to deal with some really awful ones. This booster is an absolute dream to use. I got it as a first booster for my grandson hoping the extra safety features would be sufficient so my daughter wouldn't veto it!
It's ridiculously easy to put together; parts are labeled L & R for easy identification. All the satisfying <clicks> happen like they are supposed to when you've properly seated your armrests & cupholders.The Latch System is quite possibly the easiest I've ever used. We were able to evade a meltdown mid-melt by quickly switching the booster to another car when little buddy decided on an impromptu trip in another car. So simple to release & re-latch. (Perhaps having a newer car makes a difference in using Latch? Always been a thorn in my side!) I love this seat. Going to buy the combo seat for my granddaughter!

A: The use of LATCH Connectors with this Booster Seat is optional. If the LATCH Connectors are not used, pull the LATCH Tightening Strap snug so that the LATCH Connectors do not interfere with the seat belt.

It is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality. The KidFit Zip Air Plus Booster Car Seat has the zip off fabric feature, for easy removal for washing. It also has the 3D AirMesh channels help increase air circulation throughout the backrest and seat.

A: All of our car seats have an expiration date. The KidFit Line has an 8 year life span. This information is on the bottom of the seat on a white product sticker. It is the Do Not Use After Date (expiration date).

A: The KidFit Line of Car Seats comes in two separate pieces. The high-back booster and the booster seat. The use of latch is optional and when not be used it is to be placed on top of the vehicle seat. The vehicle seat belt is what is used to secure the child inside the vehicle.

A: This Booster Seat is NOT certified for aircraft use. Aircraft do not have lap-shoulder belts to secure your child.
