Install with Confidence
Installing the Fit360® into your vehicle is as simple as open-route-close with innovative seat belt installation. Open the LeverLock™ door on the Fit360® base and route the seat belt using the easy-access belt guides. The car’s shoulder and lap belts follow their natural path through the guides for trouble-free belt routing. The built-in LeverLock™ self-tensioning lock system offers superior stability with three points of contact for continuous use from rear-facing (4-40 lbs.) through forward-facing (26.5-65 lbs.) usage. By simply closing and latching the LeverLock™ door, the vehicle belt is tightened in a way that eliminates any movement from front-to-back or side-to-side. This provides a secure installation with minimal effort, ensuring reliable stability over time.
The Fit360® base offers two level indicators and a 6-position leveling system making installation a breeze and providing a secure fit in your vehicle and a proper seated angle for your child’s comfort. Once the base is securely installed in the vehicle and the seat is attached to the base, the red or green found on both sides of the base clearly indicate if the seat is properly positioned (green) or not (red) for travel in a moving vehicle.
For even more convenience, additional bases for your Fit360® Rotating Convertible Car Seat are available for purchase. The second base can be used in another vehicle allowing you to move the Fit360® seat from base-to-base.

Great car seat, way better than Evenflo

Great rotating car seat. Easy to spin one handed. I like that the chest clip is magnetic. But the straps are difficult to loosen. Just replaced my Evenflo rotating car seat since I was in a car accident and the safety of the Evenflo version is being investigated. Install was easy. I like that the straps loosen further than the Evenflo version since I have a large one-year old. Overall I’m happy with it. Just wish the button to loosen the straps was easier to engage.

11/10 recommend this seat! I have a Nuna Rava for my other child and wish I had two of these instead! It’s so easy to install, the belt tightens smoothly (which was an issue with our Chicco Keyfit 35), and I love the cleartex line.

Best Carseat Ever

This is an excellent carseat to use. It is well designed and makes lifting and placing an infant into the seat so much easier. The straps are easy to adjust and buckle. I bought this to use when traveling with my grandchild and love how easy it is to use.

Beware of turning the seat inside the car

I bought this a few weeks ago for my grandson and love it but want to give warning to others because I’m heart broken over the damage it caused to my brand new car. I’m a very bad rainstorm I was in the back seat and turned the car seat toward me to get my grandson out of his seat rather than stand outside the car. When I turned him to face me I didn’t think about it but the seat rubbed against the car door and there is something sharp on the back of the turned seat that gouged and cut the padding/trim under the window. Beware

Love these seats

Just love these seats. No added flame retardant chemicals was a huge factor for us. We love that the seats rotate, so much easier to get the kids in. We had another rotating seat and the Chicco feels much higher quality and stability. The seat will only detach when using the key.
I wish they would come out with an extended rear facing version, up to 50 lbs.. Also I’m not sure what to do with the belt that tightens the straps as it has the plastic key piece at the end. Seems like it could be dangerous in an accident.
Overall we are extremely happy with these seats and our kids seem very comfortable. We will probably stick with Chicco seats from now on.

I love my Fit360 ClearTex Rotating car seat! I have the infant chicco keyfit 30 and loved it. Needed to upgrade and I am speechless yet again with the chicco products!! Waiting for the chicco 360 mirror to come in stock so I can purchase that as well to attach to my new fit360 cleartex rotating car seat. So many amazing features that make life easier putting my little one in the car. I love how secure and snug the base feels after installed into the backseat. Overall great car seat 10/10

I absolutely LOVE this car seat!! The magnetic chest clip is super awesome and I think my favorite feature on this car seat is the fact that when they’re turned to the side and facing you, the car seat is still level.. I returned the 360 evenflo bc the seatbelt latch was digging into my son’s thighs and the entire car seat leaned hard to the side when you were trying to clip them in and I hated that. It seems Chicco waited a bit longer and fixed all of the quirks that were wrong in the newly released 360 car seats and they absolutely nailed it. Thank you Chicco!

I love everything about this car seat! My daughter bought a different brand and when she had to put my granddaughter in my new Keyfit 360 she said “I like yours better!” I highly recommend!! And I love that you can buy extra bases and just switch car seats! That’s a huge plus!

The install of this car seat was really easy. We have a GMC Sierra so the turning car seat makes putting the baby in the seat so much easier. I also love that you can buy a separate base for this to switch between cars. The seat moves pretty smoothly too.

The Fit360 car seat is the way to go! The 360 turn means no awkward angles trying to get your little one into the seat. They’re facing you, so you can see what you’re doing, rather than guessing from a side view. The magnetic chest clip is awesome too. No worries about pinching. Overall quality of the Fit360 is VERY sturdy. Great quality padding and fabric that’s easy to clean. Nice leather piece where you touch to turn the seat, handy cup holders that are dishwasher safe, and it’s easy to install. Chicco designed it well!

The perfect transition

If you’re thinking about getting this seat, get it!! It’s so easy to maneuver. Also, if you’ll be taking the seat in different vehicles, go ahead and bite the bullet and get two bases. They’re on the heavy side, and the they encourage you to use the two anchors so we’ve found it’s better to have two bases. But even with just one anchor point, the base gets SNUG and stays put! We’re very pleased with this.

Easy to use, not giant, and seems comfortable for my 20lb 7 month old. It was pretty easy to install and seems secure yet is easy to turn. The ability to turn it makes it so much easier to put my little guy in it and make sure he is strapped in safely. I like the mirror that can be attached to it as well. Overall super happy with this purchase.

Too large to ride comfortably in front seat

I was excited about a rotating car seat that had the option of a separate base so it could be moved between cars, but unfortunately the Fit360 was so large that we had to move the front seats so far forward in our car (Tesla Model Y) that it was uncomfortable for the driver. The car seat is also very heavy.

One major flaw

I was in the market for a rotating carseat and was thrilled when I saw this one that has a minor accessory. We have immovable headrests, so the mirror attachment is a big win. There are a lot of great things about this seat, easy rotating, easy install, 1.5 year old seems comfortable. However GR here so one major flaw, and honestly, shame on Chicco because there description is extremely misleading. This seat DOES NOT have recline options. The “recline” they mention is actually how you level the seat. I’ve installed this seat many many times at various levels and the actual recline of the seat nearly doesn’t change at all. This is not an issue in the newborn phase, but my one year old prefers to sit more upright and that creates more room for tall passengers. Thai seat would be 10 stars if it actually did have recline options.

Sturdy and comfortable

This is a great car seat and my daughter seems comfortable and happy in it. Love that it will last for such a long time since it can do fear and front facing. It attaches with seatbelt and top LATCH system. Took me a while to locate that LATCH in my Tacoma but that’s not the fault of the car seat! You can do it without but I wanted to do it the safest way possible. The directions are clear and the seat is very firmly in place.

Just ok

I like the seat a lot but it keeps loosening up too much and I have to tighten it. One day it loosened up so much in 1 car ride that it was unsafe and I had to pull it apart and reinstall in a grocery store parking lot. Kinda wishing I'd stuck with the evenflo revolve, I never had issues with it loosening up I just hated the straps on it.

Rattles terribly

I bought it today and the base is installed very snug. The car seat itself, however, rattles terribly when placed in the base. I wanted to love this car seat since I have liked my other Chicco products but, this seat will drive me crazy with the constant noise and I will be worrying about my son on every little bump.

Everything I Wanted in a Seat and More!

I probably researched convertible car seats for 2-3 weeks trying to figure out what seat would be best for us. Turning, non-turning. 2 in 1? 3 in 1? 4 in 1? We'll need two (one for each vehicle). Size limits, weight limits. THE REVIEWS!! By the time I thought I'd made up my mind on a seat I would dig in to user reviews and question EVERYTHING!!! There are so many seats on the market now and it felt like choosing Halloween candy: There's always a bag that has 1 or 2 of what you want and all the other stuff is "meh". There isn't a bag of mixed Halloween candy out there that has all of what you actually want.
When it came down to it, my wish list consisted of:
-Turning capable (180 or 360 but preferred 360)
-Convertible
-Reasonable price point (since we'd need to purchase 2 seats)
-Overall good reviews
When I started my car seat research, the Fit360 wasn't even available for purchase yet so it wasn't really in the running or one I really looked at closely. But by the end of my time looking at seats, I circled back to it because I just didn't find a seat that really had everything I wanted that wasn't going to set us back $600+ to purchase 2 seats. Reviews on the other seats I was considering were all highly rated but also stated that the fabric pilled, the straps twisted easily or were thin, the seat rattled, the seat was too hot, the cup holders were too small (I could go on and on and on and ON). I know there isn't a perfect seat out there but it made the decision SO hard and was the biggest reason why I circled back to Chicco to check this seat out even if it meant we had to wait for it to be released. I'm so glad we waited!
-First off, I love the 360 turn. I can absolutely do it 1 handed and it's not hard or jerky to turn in my experience. Not having to be at an awkward angle to get my daughter in her seat has been so so so nice and she also is quite impressed with the turning and thinks it's fun.
-Installation was easy peasy.
-I really really REALLY appreciate that we can purchase multiple bases (which saves us a lot of money). **I do want to address the recline/level. The item listing states that this seat has "6 recline positions" and it technically does - but I thought that the reclining would be separate from the leveling mechanics of the base. It is NOT. So you have a wider range of "leveling" in order to recline the seat as little or as much as you want as long as you are in between those 2 black level lines when installing the base. I know a lot of other 360 and convertible seats have reclining and the reclining of the seat is somewhere on the seat. This is not the case with the Fit360. The recline and leveling are all in the same thing and if you want to adjust the recline you must remove the seat from the base. This wasn't a dealbreaker for me as I didn't really know of a situation where I'd want to change the recline of the seat with my child sitting in it but I've seen other reviews on other seats about recline so I wanted to address that in my review if that is something that's important to you.**
-Also base related - I have so much peace of mind that the seat MUST click in to the base to secure it. I looked at the Evenflo Revolve 360 and to remove the seat from the base you turned it to a certain position and just lifted the seat out of the base. I tried this on a demo seat they had in the store and it just comes right out. Which is very convenient and easy but for some reason it just made me a little uneasy knowing that it just comes right out like that. Granted, you wouldn't have your child's seat in that position while driving so it's not like it would just pop out but with the Fit360, knowing how the seat and base work together it just gives me SO MUCH MORE peace of mind that I know that seat is fully secured to the base, period.
-Magnetic chest clip is AWESOME. It was something I didn't know I even wanted but I appreciate having.
-I love the flip forward crotch strap and the storage slots for the chest straps to keep them out of the way but have 1 suggestion for the chest strap storage slots -- I wish they were magnetic or something instead of a small hole to insert the little metal pieces into. I do not have any issue using it but my husband almost never uses them because for him it's too much effort (ha ha). It does take some wiggling to get them in but once you get the hang of it you can do it pretty quickly (I think, at least) but my husband just doesn't want to put in the effort. I asked him what would make him use them and he said magnetic so it would just be a quick and easy placement vs trying to insert a small metal piece into the small hole/slot. But the fact that Chicco even thought to have a solution for keeping those straps out of the way while getting your kid in the seat is great.
-The overall quality of the seat is great. Sturdy. I haven't noticed any rattling or looseness after installation of the base. It's very solid. We were using the KeyFit35 for our infant seat so we already knew what to expect as far as fabric quality and methods for adjusting the seat (like tightening/loosening the straps, adjusting the straps, etc). Everything is easy to get to to tighten/loosen the straps. I haven't had to dig under my daughter for any reason to get or adjust straps.
I originally wanted a 3 or 4 in 1 seat to avoid having to purchase a booster in the future, but to be honest...boosters aren't THAT expensive and it will be some time before we'll need one. By then, I'm sure this seat will have gone through some wear and tear from our daughter so I don't mind the idea of getting her a "fresh" new seat when it's time to go booster. We'll be in this seat for a few more years (my daughter is only 12 months). All in all, I am so happy with this seat and it comes with more things than I even wanted originally. I know that Chicco is a little late to the rotating seat game but I feel like the features they've included in this seat show they've done their research on what parents like/dislike about other seats on the market. And with the ability to purchase multiple bases - they care about your wallet too if you need more than 1 seat. We loved Chicco for our infant seat and will continue to love and trust Chicco for this seat for years to come.

A: This Child Restraint is certified for use on aircraft. Use this Child Restraint only on FORWARD-FACING aircraft seats.We would also advise to contact the airline prior to travel to discuss their Child Restraint policy. Please also refer to your owner's manual, specifically pages 102-105 for proper installation instructions.

Q: Does the Chicco Fit 360 work with any of the travel strollers? With the insert for the stroller and car seat?

A: The Fit360 ClearTex Rotating Covertible Car Seat is a two part restraint system. The car seat is detachable from the base but is not compatible with any strollers or infant car seat bases. It is only compatible with other Fit360 Bases.
